This was torrented on dimeadozen.org by CU.org in October, 2006. To most people, this was a recording that would be considered “new” however there were a LOT of collectors who had this recording & the other SBD torrented, 09/05/1991. I do not advocate collecting recordings via FLAC or whatnot, I released this show so the maximum amount of people would benefit from the release. Among other issues associated with this, collectors were using this to attempt to extract X amount of recordings for this source, thereby creating more of a “value” for it. Sort of like an underground, black market Tool-live-recording trade. Other variables aside, by torrenting this recording, that removed the value placed on this. This was also released in remembrance to one of our one, Bjorn AKA onebear. The passing of someone who shares this hobby with you & was as much of an online buddy, so to speak, as you could be cuts close to the matter of things. Assists in keeping things in perspective.

If you listen close to the guitar-only riff of “Maynard’s Dick” between Intolerance + Hush, the acutely in-tune collector will notice the similarity to this riff & many performances from the US Fall tour in 2006 - listen & compare.

Well, good for you - you found another “Easter Egg” on this site. There are more, not that it matters all that much to you. Maybe it would mean more if you won something, how about a big fat bag of air? Sweet for you! All messing around aside, this is one of my favorite SBD recordings of this band that we know & appreciate. Not only does this performance feature the only known “flood-ish” fade-in to Intolerance (amazing), is exceptional quality but also features a couple strums from Adam’s guitar where Maynard’s Dick would be if they played more than 15 seconds of guitar… so, would that mean that this was a Maynard’s Dick tease intro to Hush? Paging Dr. Freud. There are people in the Tool community out there that have this recording, talking to you mind-rapers & hypocrites so be on the lookout. This has been around, in some capacity for a very, very long time. Since the mid 1990’s if memory serves. In fact, this was one of the first SBDs of Tool I attained way back in the day. Although I wish that this was “out” as this is one of the best performances -ever- by Tool from this era, if it is going to be so, I will have nothing to do with it after seeing the disrespect of so many and the appreciation of so few. Just kidding… just kidding… real boring? Time listed below seems to be the most common of the cassette>cd transfers out there.
