What are you talking about efrem, your vinyl is in no way listed as fake…it is on the site as a related auction, I am simply suggesting viewers be careful when buying from eBay because it is loaded with fakes. Having said that I think you are charging an extortionist price for your vinyl.

i’m not sure why u’ve listed my Tool – Aenima record on your site as a fake. Ebay item number: 270833498291. This item is an original sealed 1996 pressing.
Catalog#: 72445 11087 1 – Pressing B (2nd Pressing)
I would appreciate it if u removed my listing as “fake” on your website bcuz it is indeed the real deal.
i can appreciate that u are wanting to help avid collectors and Tool fans to be careful when purchasing Tool collectibles, but in this case u are misleading people with your incorrect findings.

I dont see what the problem is. Some collectors like me, LOVE bootlegs. And with the likes of 10,000 days, Tool dont give a fuck about supplying their fans with a vinyl release so someone out there has delivered. SUPPLY AND DEMAND.
As for Salival, you can get the real one if you want to pay $400-$500 or more or get a bootleg of it for under $100. From what I can tell most of the people selling Bootlegs are not trying to sell them as originals, its clear to any one with half a brain they are bootlegs.
Perhaps you think TOOL are on the poverty line and are being denied proper payment. In actual fact the only people being hurt in any way would be the Record Company, and they can get f**cked as far as I’m concerned.
And why is it that its big bands like Tool and Metallica and Led Zep that kick up a fuss. Did you know there are some bands that WELCOME bootlegs, now that is liberating.
Tool fans with your high and mighty stance on bootlegs are a bunch of whining idiots.
Some of the bootlegs out there are actually VERY GOOD quality. And as with other bands bootlegs can be very collectable. I hope that is the case with Tool bootlegs and you all rue the day when instead of buying them and watching your purchase go up in value over time, you all got on your soap boxes because Tool were being denied “pennies” .
The more bootlegs the better I say. I like bootlegs and I resent you lot here denying me what I want to buy. If I KNOW its a bootleg and I WANT to buy it, why shouldnt I beable to?. If you dont want to buy it, then that is fine just dont try and stop me from buying them.

Hi all,
I reported on ebay.com ebay.de ebay.co.uk and on allegro.pl over a dozen of tool’s fakes vinyls also I sent emails to some sellers with info what I did f**k the thieves!
Be aware and don’t buy vinyls ripped from mp3 or cd.

Brent C. – My opened copy of 61422-31145-1 has a PA sticker stuck on the record sleeve. My two sealed copies of 61422-31087-1 have the TOOL sticker (72445-11087-1) and the PA sticker on the outside of the shrink wrap. All of these records have been in my possession for over a decade. Hope this info can be of help to you.

I,ve been & still am a HUGE TOOL fan! & was fortunate to see them many many times, going back to “91″ in little dives that only held maybe 700 to 1000 people! Tho back in 1996, i was totally anticipating the new release of “AENIMA! I had read in the local paper here in Detroit, that the first 100 people to purchase the “AENIMA” CD~ at “BESTBUY” would receive a collectors edition, of a 78 RPM VINYL RECORD! needless to say…..i was the 1st one in the store! I bought the CD of “AENIMA” & Received the colloctors, 78 RPM vinyl album!!
Side A has “STINKFIST & “OPIATE” & side B has “SOBER & PRISON SEX” …It is a “Pictured Album with images of two humanoid heads, connected at the neck & the both are holding some sort of “Dagger” in their teeth!! Side A, the picture is a little different, tho not by much….. The two figures are reaching up w/their hands! It has never been opened or played & is in the original clear, thick, plastic sleeve! I have no idea how much this is worth? It doenst sound like any of the vinyl albums described in all the above albums!
Does anyone have any idea? or own this collectable vinyl? & how much it could possibly be worth?….to the right buyer? I havent seen this 78 RPM Vinyl LP, anywhere on “E-Bay” or any other site?

Where can I buy a legit vinyl of Aenima? I don’t want to buy on ebay, it seems like everything is fake, but there aren’t a whole lot of other sites out there. Does anyone know of a legit site/store, I need to add this to my collection.
