This is a pretty rare (or so it appears) vinyl picture disc that I received from Best Buy way back when I bought Aenima back in ’96. There are four songs on it:
Side A has Stinkfist and Opiate, and Side-B has Sober and Prison Sex–for a handful of rocking vinyl tracks!

THIS IS A SUPER RARE ORIGINAL LATERALUS VINYL DOUBLE LP RELEASED FROM TOOLARMY.COM. IT IS IN MINT CONDITION AND 1 OF ONLY 300 ISSUED WITH THE BANDS ORIGINAL SIGNATURES. THIS WAS THE 1ST BATCH SHIPPED OUT, SINCE THE BAND RELEASED AN INITIAL 150 WITH SIGNATURES, BEFORE ADDING ANOTHER 150 FOR RELEASE I BELIEVE A MONTH OR SO LATER. I HAVE INCLUDED A PICTURE WHICH SHOWS THE BOX WITH THE TOOLARMY ADDRESS AND THE POSTAGE DATE SHOWING THE ORIGINAL RELEASE AND SHIPPING DATE. THIS IS A HIGH QUALITY SET WHERE THE SIGNATURES WERE DONE BEFORE GROOVING THE RECORDS, WHICH PRESERVES THE SIGNATURES, UNLIKE VINYLS SIGNED AFTER THE RECORD HAS BEEN GROOVED. THESE DISCS HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED OR TOUCHED ON THE FACES. NO FINGERPRINTS, NO SCRATCHES, NO NOTHING!! DEFINITELY A TOOL COLLECTORS MUST HAVE!!

This is what I put on ebay:
(Only 5,000 copies)
Released in 1996
Side A: 1. Cesaro Summability (1:26) 2. Aenima (6:40)
Side B: 1. Third Eye (13:47)
Signed by Maynard James Keenan (Vocals), Danny Carey (Drums), Adam Jones (Guitar), and Justin Chancellor (Bass). Chancellor was not the bassist on the recording; he replaced Paul D’Amour prior to the tour.
I am no bootlegger! I am a genuine Tool fan—I have been for ages—but I move frequently, and I am worried that something will happen to this gem in all my moving about. To the buyer of this LP, I would be happy to tell you its history! It has always been in my possession, and I have only played it once—today—to make sure it is still in good condition. Good news: it is perfect! Man, the tracks sound amazing!!
Hope you will consider becoming the caretaker of this treasure!

This is an extremely rare item. You are bidding on a promotional-only, 3-track 12″ vinyl picture disc given out with Tool’s “Aenima”. The picture disc comes in a clear plastic sleeve and both sides are pictured below. I have never played this record, as usually picture discs have poorer sound quality than regular pressed vinyl. You should keep in mind that you are bidding on this item for it’s obscurity, rarity and for the picture disc (vs. the sound quality)…
For Promotional Use Only

Side B: 1. Third Eye (13:47)
